I am excited to introduce myself as the Principal at The Grange Academy. The Grange
Academy is a flourishing mixed, non-selective secondary school and sixth form based in Bushey, Hertfordshire, admitting students from the ages of 11 to 18.   We are part of Future Academies Multi-Academy Trust (MAT), and share their high standards of excellence. With the support of our sponsors, we are able to engage with the best teachers, the best universities and a wide range of the most prominent employers in the
country to ensure that all our children are equipped with the knowledge, aspiration and
respect to obtain Libertas per cultum, ‘freedom through education’.  We place our values (Knowledge, Aspiration and Respect) at the heart of all that we do.  We believe that knowledge should be empowering and that as such our curriculum seeks to foster insatiable curiosity in our students, granting them the freedom to achieve their academic potential.  Our aspirations for our students are unapologetically high, regardless of their starting points or backgrounds, striving for a climate of resilience and perseverance in which academic success is always celebrated.                             

 By offering a broad range of activities and clubs, we want all of our students to find areas where they will thrive and succeed so that they truly look forward to coming to school every day.  We believe that all stakeholders should take responsibility for their learning, aiming to continually develop and improve so that they can be the very best student, teacher, leader and support staff member possible. Students are encouraged to be challenged in lessons and to understand that learning is not always about getting the right answer! We are a school both in, and for, the community. We believe that engagement with our local community is essential, and we will continue to look to develop our links beyond the school gates. Both our incredible facilities and our expert approach to teaching and learning reflect
a unique fusion of the traditional and the modern. We believe that all children should have access to the best things that have been known and thought, and as such grant the young people this school serves with the freedom that we know education brings.
