The Grange Academy

Information Regarding Covid-19

Future Academies’ highest priority is the wellbeing of its pupils, staff and wider communities.

Following the announcement of the new national lockdown, we will be following government rules on the opening of schools. We will remain open for vulnerable children and the children of critical workers. All other children will learn remotely until February half term.

The government says that it does not think it is possible for all exams in the summer to go ahead as planned and says it will “work with Ofqual to consult rapidly to put in place alternative arrangements that will allow students to progress fairly. Public exams and vocational assessments scheduled to take place in January will go ahead as planned”.

We are implementing plans to provide food parcels for students eligible for Free School Meals; parents/guardians have been contacted directly on this. Contact the number below if you have a query on this.

We will continue to work hard to support all our students, parents and teachers during the coming weeks and communicate with you regularly as soon as we have further information. If you have any queries in the meantime please do email us at enquiries@thegrange.futureacademies.org

Thank you to all staff, both those in the classrooms and those who work behind the scenes, for their commitment and sacrifice during these times.

Please follow the latest guidance from the Government and we will continue to monitor the situation closely.
